An absolute masterpiece by Laur. I don't know how he keeps outdoing himself and am unsure how they'll best this album, but for now this one really combines the narrative feeling of The Angel's Message with the, I feel, higher quality sound design of Afflict/Collapse, while also reminiscent of t+pazolite's double albums: one half lighter one half darker. Where do I even start with this album? The depth of instruments, genres, and styles is mind-blowing. After Angel's Message, I've been kind of hovering between 'pretty good' and 'holy sh*t' on Laur, and this album completely surpassed that scale.
Favourite track is a really hard to choose - but Viyella's Destiny really showcases the variety of styles and the narrative musical structure Laur really excels at. It's an entire journey. drvercingetorix
